Join USATF Mid-Atlantic at the Grand Slam Track meet May 31 and June 1, 2025 – Franklin Field

Grand Slam Track (Olympic Champion Michael Johnson’s new track league) will be holding a two-day USATF-sanctioned meet at Philadelphia’s Franklin Field May 31 and June 1 (Saturday/Sunday). The competition over the two days will include M/F 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3k, plus 100/110 and 400m Hurdles. The competitors will each compete in two events in logical categories (e.g., 400 Hurdles and open 400; 800 and 1500; etc.) over the three days. Winners in each category are determined by total points scored in the two events in each category (save for the 3k), with each category winner receiving $100,000 (3k – $50,000).

There are a total of 96 athletes competing, 48 Racers and 48 Challengers. Among the Racers are a number of Olympic medalists, World Champions, and WR and NR holders. Racers include Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Gabby Thomas, Kenny Bednarek, Grant Fisher, Jess Hull, Josh Kerr, and many other world-class athletes. Each event will be contested by 8 athletes, so each race is in effect a final.
