Mid-Atlantic Officials announce their 2022 Officials Awards
The USATF Mid-Atlantic Officials Committee hosted its Annual Meeting on Sunday, September 9th. During the meeting, Chair Earl Edwards recognized the following individuals for their service and outstanding officiating:
Angela Gordon was named 2022 Outstanding National Official and 2022 Mid-Atlantic 2022 Official of the Year.
Additionally, three other officials received 2022 Outstanding National Officials awards:
Ed Richardson was recognized as a 2022 Outstanding National Official
Bill Brady and David Love were also recognized as 2022 Outstanding National Officials (not pictured).
OFFICIALS COURSE AT LEHIGH UNIVERSITY
Lehigh University and Coach Todd Etters for partnering with Mid-Atlantic officials Joseph Rycek, Joseph McGonigle, and Earl Edwards to host an introductory Implements Inspections course (weights & measurements for indoor and outdoor field events).
Officials interested in specific continuing education courses, be sure to reach out to Earl Edwards. Mid-Atlantic usually hosts several each year.
