2026 USATF MID-ATLANTIC ANNUAL MEETING AND OFFICER ELECTIONS

All USATF Mid-Atlantic members are invited to attend and participate in the 2026 USATF Mid-Atlantic Annual Meeting on October 22, 2026. The Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to voice opinions, ask questions, and get involved with the committees and activities of USATF Mid-Atlantic.
At this year’s meeting, the Association will elect officers for the 2027–2028 term. Newly elected officers will take office on January 1, 2027.
Call for Officer Candidates
Strong leadership is essential to the continued success of USATF Mid-Atlantic and our ability to serve athletes and members across Youth, Long Distance Running, Masters, High Performance, Coaches and Officials.
If you are interested in helping lead the Association and contributing to its future, we encourage you to step forward and be considered for an officer position.
The Association is seeking qualified candidates for:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
Your experience, perspective, and participation can make a meaningful difference in the future of USATF Mid-Atlantic. We encourage interested members to step forward and get involved.

How to Be Nominated: Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by another Association member. Click here to submit a nomination.
Nomination deadline: Monday, September 21, 2026
Nominations must include: The candidate’s USATF membership number, the position sought, support from at least two (2) voting members (including their membership numbers), confirmation that the candidate is willing to serve, and a brief summary of the candidate’s USATF Mid-Atlantic involvement and qualifications.
Candidate Eligibility: Candidates must:
- Be a USATF Mid-Atlantic member as of July 31, 2026;
- Be at least 18 years old on January 1, 2027;
- Meet all required USATF background screening requirements; and
- Comply with the USATF SafeSport Program.

Proposed Bylaw Amendment
The membership will also consider a proposed amendment to consolidate the Financial Secretary and Treasurer positions into one Treasurer/Financial Secretary role. The amendment has been approved by the Board of Directors and is being presented to the membership for adoption.
